At Sedgemead House Dental we believe in clear, straightforward pricing. Our goal is to ensure you understand exactly what your treatment will cost, no surprises, no hidden fees. Below is a broad outline of how our fee structure works.
A comprehensive initial assessment (which includes consultation, examination and any standard X-rays) will be your starting point.
Standard diagnostic X-rays and routine checks are included with no extra cost. We do not charge extra “hidden” fees for routine diagnostic imaging during your check up.
From there, if any further treatment is required, we will provide you with a written treatment plan showing each item of work, the associated fee, and the approximate timescale.
We review fees regularly. If treatment is recommended but not carried out within a certain timeframe (which we will clearly state), fees may change, but you will always be informed in advance

Flexible Finance Options
We understand that private dental treatment can represent a significant investment. That is why we offer a variety of flexible payment options to help spread the cost.
Spread the Cost of treatment by prioritising the most important bits first.
Interest-free payment plans for qualifying treatment (over £500) are available.
Monthly instalments are possible via third-party finance providers, subject to status and approval.
We will always discuss the payment options with you before you commit to treatment, so you know exactly what your financial commitments will be.
If you prefer, we can present several financial plan options (for example: 0% interest over 6-12 months) so you can pick what works best for your budget.

Before any major treatment begins, you will receive a written treatment plan detailing:
The recommended treatment.
Each component of the work (e.g., consultation, imaging, treatment ).
The cost of each component.
A clear timescale and expected number of visits.
We believe you should never be surprised by an unexpected additional charge. That means:
No “surprise” X-ray fees — all regular intra-oral X-rays required for routine care have no charge in your examination appointment.
No hidden charges for basic treatment essentials. If additional work becomes necessary (for example extra visits due to unforeseen circumstances), we will always seek your agreement first and provide a fee estimate.
Our aim is for you to feel in control of your dental care decisions — you’ll know the costs up-front and exactly what you are paying for.
