The greatest compliment a patient can pay us is to recommend us to a friend or family member. After more than a century of caring for Dover smiles, word-of-mouth is still how most of our new patients find us - and we'd like to thank the people who make that possible.
If someone you know is looking for a dentist, our referral card is our way of saying thank you for the introduction.
For New Patients
If you've been given a Sedgemead House referral card by someone you know — welcome. We're delighted to be recommended to you.
We're a private dental practice in the heart of Dover, founded in 1912 and trusted by generations of local families. Whether you're booking a routine check-up, looking after a long-standing concern, or considering cosmetic treatment, we'll take the time to get to know you and talk you through every option at your own pace.
To book your first appointment, you can call us or book online. To claim your credit just bring the card with the name of the friend who recommended us or mention their name when you arrive and your £40 credit will be applied.

Where to find a card
Referral cards are kept at our reception desk in Dover. Next time you're in for an appointment, do ask — we'll happily send you home with a couple to pass on.
If you'd rather make an introduction directly, you're welcome to give your friend our details and ask them to mention your name when they arrive for their new patient check up. We'll make sure the credit is added to both your accounts once their first visit is complete.
How It Works
When you pass a Sedgemead House referral card to a friend or family member and they attend their first appointment with us, you'll both receive £40 credit:
£40 towards their first visit — applied to their New Patient Check-Up.
£40 added to your account — to use towards your next appointment, whenever suits you.
There's no rush, no pressure, and no hoops to jump through. The credit is simply there, waiting for you both, as a small thank-you from us.
Referral of friends and Family Terms and Conditions
Credit applies once the new patient has attended and completed their first appointment with us.
£40 credit is applied to the new patient's first check up, and £40 credit is added to the referring patient's account for their next appointment.
Credit cannot be exchanged for cash and has no monetary value outside the practice.
One referral card per new patient. If multiple cards are received for the same person, the first one received will be credited.
Credit is valid for 24 months from the date of the new patient's first appointment.
Credit cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or promotions.
Sedgemead House Dental Clinic reserves the right to amend or withdraw the scheme at any time.
The scheme is open to existing Sedgemead House patients only.
